Glenview Women's Club
2022-2023 President's Message

Hello Glenview Women’s Club Members:
We feel like it is an incredibly important time for our club to come together to address some very serious issues in our community as our club faces a new reality created by the Covid-19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter social situation.

As we all are well aware, there is unprecedented unemployment in our community creating increasing problems for the women we serve as they are disproportionately affected by both of these situations. Increased food insecurity and limited resources from donors and government assistance are going to grow the issues facing women this year, and we feel a calling to take arms and help with a renewed passion.

We are excited to announce that we have created a cohesive board that is committed to working together toward supporting this endeavor. We are equipped and ready to help each other and the community we serve to get through these uncertain times with dignity, grace, teamwork, and a willingness to drive our mission forward with the force that locked arms are capable of.

Hello Glenview Women’s Club Members:
What an incredible year we have had! 2020-21 was a real journey navigating the dynamic landscape of being a community 501c3. We were strong and nimble and activated our fierce group of women to continue to raise money and awareness for the community we serve!  We came together virtually and were still able to get close to reaching our goal of $30k despite the realities our donor base faced with the economic instability created by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As we all are well aware, there was unprecedented unemployment in our community creating increasing problems for the women we serve as they are disproportionately affected by both of these situations. Increased food insecurity and limited resources from donors and government assistance are going to grow the issues facing women this year, and we feel a calling to take arms and help with a renewed passion.

We are excited to announce that our strong cohesive board has stayed together for another year to continue to work towards the goals we set last year and have a continued commitment working for the community we serve to get through these uncertain times with dignity, grace, teamwork, and a willingness to drive our mission forward with the force that locked arms are capable of.
